I’ve always believed in the power of storytelling to connect and inspire.
That belief has shaped my life and career, from my early days as a Journalism student to my current work as a freelance comms specialist.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Communications, I moved to Asia to teach, explore, and learn as much as possible about life outside of New Zealand. My experience there, namely in Cambodia, opened my eyes to the world of grassroots leadership and community-driven change. Returning to New Zealand during the pandemic, I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in International Development, took on roles in nonprofit leadership, launched a youth program centred on volunteering and community involvement, became a qualified youth worker, and led various youth leadership initiatives.
Now, I work as a freelance communications specialist, helping purpose-driven organisations tell their stories through writing, strategy, and digital storytelling.
